APi Integration to replace the booking widget

I have just started looking at the APi integrations as we want the user journey to be seamless. We currently use the booking widget. I have looked at the reference available lodgify there isn't much. I would love sample code on how to integrate the API with the WordPress site and replace the widget. Is there anyone on here who wouldn't mind sharing some sample code.?
